MBSR was created by John Kabat Zinn, M.D. at the University of Massachusetts. MBSR is approved as one of the most reliable clinically proven Stress Reduction Programs available today.

During its 30 years of development, people have come to MBSR for reasons as diverse as...

  • Stress — job, family or financial
  • Chronic pain and illness
  • Anxiety and panic
  • GI distress
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Fatigue
  • High blood pressure
  • Headaches

This program is challenging and life-affirming. The instructors are accomplished and skilled at creating a safe, supportive, and deeply engaging experiential learning environment. They will assist you in learning these methods, providing both group and individualized instructions and directions for how to learn, practice, and integrate mindfulness into your everyday life.

Format:

The course schedule consists of eight weekly 2.5 hour classes and one day-long class on a Saturday or Sunday.

We offer this sliding scale on the 'honor system' and ask that you pay as much as you are able based on income.
