Description:
Comprehensive Ongoing Right Effort

This intensive class is for advanced training in the Buddhist method of happiness and well-being. Focusing on the heart of the Buddha's teaching, the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold path, this ongoing monthly class will focus on how to make these teachings practical in your daily life and how to cultivate and trust your own direct experience.

To participate, you must have approval of the teacher and have been practicing meditation for at least one year with a daily practice.

Format:
You may audit the first class before making a firm commitment. Once made you are invited to the following:
  • Participate in each monthly class meeting, on the fourth Sunday of each month in three month intervals (with an option to continue for the next three months at the discretion of the teacher).

  • During this time, you will enhance your practice by participating in the Second Sunday retreats each month, come consistently to one of our sitting groups, meet with an assigned buddy for homework and be offered the opportunity to serve the sangha and community.

  • Participate in one extended retreat each year (time and place will be determined by the teacher and students).

This class is offered to all advanced students in the spirit of generosity. Membership dues will be based on each individuals ability to pay. No one is turned away when having difficult financial times.
